Career of Yashwant Sinha

He resigned from the IAS and joined Janata Party in 1984. After some time he was appointed as All-India General secretary of the party and became Rajya Sabha member in 1988. Sinha became the Minister for External Affairs on 1 July 2002 before that he was working as the finance minister.
