Career of A. K. Antony
He became interested in politics in his college years when he was in the Student Union. In 1972, he became president of the Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC). He became the 8th Chief Minister of Kerala when K.Karunakaran resigned due to Rajan case. Again, he became the 16th Chief Minister of Kerala in 1995. He served for the third term for 2001 to 2004. He also served as a Defence Minister for 8 years. Currently, he is Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha.
