About Mecca Masjid
Mecca Masjid is a popular congregational mosque situated in the capital city of Telangana state in India. It was constructed between the 16th and 17th centuries under the reign of Muhammad Quli Qutb Shah. The mosque was planned at the center around which city was planned by the ruler. The site is located very near to the popular landmarks like Charminar, Laad Bazaar, and Chowmahalla Palace of the city. The mosque opens every morning at 4:00 am and closes at 9:30 in the evening. It is a state-protected monument. There is no entry fee to enter the premises.
How To Reach Mecca Masjid
As the mosque is located close to popular landmark like Charminar, Chowmahalla Palace, and Laad Bazaar so you can easily reach there from these sites. Several means of transports are available in the city which will take you to the location comfortably.

Bus is the most economical method to reach the location. For going there by bus, you have to leave your bus at nearby bus stands which are Khilwat, Charminar, Madina, Moosa Bowli and City College. You can take an auto-rickshaw or walk to reach the location.
