Career of Oleg Novitskiy
After his selection as a cosmonaut in 2006, he started taking basic spaceflight training. His training at the ISS Expedition 31/32 backup crew member started in May 2012. He was a member of the Soyuz TMA-06M crew which went to space in October 2012 and returned in March 2013. He again went with Expedition 50/Expedition 51 in November 2016. He has spent more than 531 days in space.
