Career of Ronald Evans (Astronaut)

He was selected by NASA in April 1966. He was a member of the astronaut support crews for the Apollo 7 and Apollo 11 flights. He was assigned the duty of backup Command Module Pilot for Apollo 14. He went on a space flight as Command Module Pilot of Apollo 17. He spent about 12 days 13 hours and 52 minutes in space.
