He started his journey as a hockey player in the 2002-03 season in the Western Hockey League. He signed with the Hamilton Bulldogs in 2007. He played against Pittsburgh Penguins on October 10, 2007. He represented the team Montreal Canadiens in various games since 2007. He also played international games representing Canada.
