He joined Lakers to start his professional career when he was just 17. He scored 25 points in the Summer Pro League. He played 80 games in the 2001-02 season. He scored 27 points, 10 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steal in the 2002-03 season. He scored 81 points when his team won by 122-104 with the Toronto Raptors in a game in January 2006.
