Career of Imran Khan (Politician)
While in the cricket he received an offer from then-President Muhammad Zia-ul-Haq for a political position in Pakistan Muslim League (PML) but he turned down. He founded his own party "Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)" on 25 April 1996. He supported General Pervez Musharraf in 1999. His party won 30 seats in 2013 election. He became Prime Minister of Pakistan when the party won 115 seats in 2018 election.
