I met Cliff in Bournemouth in 1976 when he was with Bandit. I found him the loveliest man I had met but I was only 16 at the time. He asked me to have a drink after he had changed which I did and then he took us backstage to meet the band and we had the best time and perhaps had I been a bit older maybe we may have had a relationship as we got on so well and totally fancied each other. We didn't meet again and he went on to marry in 1980 the year before me. His lasted mine not but it's good to see him still looking gorgeous at 71.
