He played the role of Miles Dalby in Risky Business in 1983. In the following year, he performed in Revenge of the Nerds as Dudley "Booger" Dawson. His two films were released in 1985, Better Off Dead as Charles De Mar and Bad Medicine as Dennis Gladstone. He was Goov in 'The Clan of the Cave Bear' and 'Ack Ack Raymond' in One Crazy Summer in 1986. He was seen in Revenge of the Nerds II: Nerds in Paradise as Dudley "Booger" Dawson in the following year. He was an Arcadia Bible Academy Recruiter in How I Got Into College in 1989. In 1991, he performed in Hi Honey - I'm Dead as Arnold Pischkin.
He was again Dudley "Booger" Dawson in Revenge of the Nerds III: The Next Generation and in Revenge of the Nerds IV: Nerds in Love in 1992 and 1994. He was Clark in Big Bully and was Chain Smoking Booster in Jingle All the Way both released in 1996. He performed the role of Bert Miller in 1998. Also in 2006, his four films were released National Lampoon's Pucked as Janitor, Akeelah, and the Bee as Mr. Welch, Southland Tales as Dr. Soberin Exx, Smokin' Aces as Mecklen. He appeared in Route 30 as Ned in 2007 and was D.A. in Beer for My Horses in the following year. His character was Mr. Gary Golden in Legally Blondes and was Mr. O'Donnell in American Pie Presents: The Book of Love. He appeared in Flypaper as Mitchell Wolf and was Max in TV movie The Dog Who Saved Halloween in 2011.
