About Villa Kleineh
Villa Kleineh is an old villa situated in the city of Helsinki, Finland. It is now serving as an embassy of the Netherlands to Finland. It was built in 1839 to serve as the guest house for the Ullanlinna It is believed that Carl Ludvig Engel and his student Jean Wik designed the building, however, there no proper evidence about it, and views may vary. It was named "Villa Kleineh" when restaurateur Louis Kleineh bought the house in 1857. The ownership has transferred from time to time. In 2000, it was sold to the Netherlands state and the ambassador is a resident of the villa.
