We don’t even want to think that any person in our family get such disease. But there are some people who were diagnosed with the disease and are able to win over cancer with their will power and family support. Noida-based Kathak dancer is dancing since she was a child of six years. She was in her late 40s when was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. She underwent a surgery in which she got 36 stitches on her stomach and returned on the stage after a gap of two weeks. Dasgupta shaved her head after her first chemotherapy session, as she knows she will lose her hair during treatment.
