He started his musical career in 1989. He did not get much success with his first album. His second album "Viviendo Deprisa" was released in 1991. He released his records Si Tú Me Miras and 3 in 1993 and 1995 respectively. His album "Mas" which was released in 1997 made him a star. In 2000, his album "El Alma al Aire" was made available to the public. His album No Es lo Mismo was released in 2003 and El Tren de los Momentos in 2006.
