Career of Russell Brand
He breakthrough stand-up at the Hackney Empire New Act of the Year final in 2000. He hosted Big Brother 5, Big Brother 6, Big Brother's Big Mouth and also Celebrity Big Brother 5. He performed in the episodes of The Bill. He also appeared for a small role in the movie Penelope. He provided a voice to the character Creek in the DreamWorks film Trolls. On Radio, he co-hosted The Russell Brand Show.

He was arrested in 2010 on battery charges when he reportedly attacks an independent photographer who blocked his and his girlfriend's way to catch a plane at Los Angeles International Airport. He was released from the custody after paying US$20,000 for bail.
Also in 2012, an arrest warrant was issued for him in New Orleans when he was alleged for throwing a photographer's mobile phone through a window.
He was also arrested for stripping at the 2003 May Day protest in London.
