Career of Shiamak Davar

He made his Bollywood debut by choreographing the film "Dil To Pagal Hai" and became an overnight star. After that he worked in many films like Taal, Dhoom 2, Yuvvraaj, Bhaag Milkha Bhaag and Jagga Jasoos. Apart from Hindi films, he also choreographed the film "Mission Impossible 4." His dance institute named "Shaimak Davar Dance Company" is very popular among dance lovers.

Being born in a family of educators, it was very difficult for him to follow his passion for dancing but he remain stuck to his decision and the rest is history.
In addition to being a choreographer, Shiamak is also a singer and released his first singing album "Survive" in 1991.
He has a heart of gold and he runs two charitable organizations named Victory Dance Team and Victory on Wheels that teaches dance to children from an underprivileged background and hearing impaired and also to the people on wheelchairs and patient with Down syndrome, polio as well as other disabilities.
As success comes along with some trouble. Shiamak was also a subject of controversy like many other celebrities. Two of his former students named Percy Shroff and Jimmy Mistry in Canada filed a lawsuit against him for inappropriately touching them. The two were also members of Davar's VRRP Spiritual Learning group. They said that he misused his power of being their spiritual guide.
He used to entertain his friends and family members with his dancing and singing since he was a child.
He took part in several competitions in his early career.
His style of dancing was not common in India at the time he started his career so he had to face some criticism. But later on, it became so popular that everybody know him because of his dance.
Shiamak has taught dancing to many popular actors including Sushant Singh Rajput, Shahid Kapoor, and Varun Dhawan.
Not only in films, but he has also choreographed closing and opening ceremonies of some of the popular events like the Commonwealth Games and the World Economic Forum.
