Nina Dobrev started her acting career with the series Degrassi: The Next Generation as Mia Jones in which she played a teenage mom. She is best known for playing Elena Gilbert the series The Vampire Diaries. Her first feature film was Repo! The Genetic Opera released in 2006 in which she played a Teenage Zydrate Addict.
