Derek Hough got popular from the ABC series "Dancing with the star". He has won many dance competitions including "World Youth Latin Champion" in 2002, in 2003 he won "Blackpool U-21 Latin title". He has appeared in seventeen seasons of the series "Dancing with the star" along with different celebrity partners. In 2017 he became the judged of the "World of Dance" series.
His theater work counts "Jesus Christ Superstar", "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang", "Footloose: The Musical". He has also been featured in few cameo roles including "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone", "Rock of Ages".
