An American actor who is known for his role in Body of Proof, Geoffrey Arend was born in Manhattan, New York on February 28, 1978. His mother is Pakistani while his father is from the German and English background. He took a graduate degree in 1996 from New York City's Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts. He had a wife, Christina Hendricks, with whom he was married on October 11, 2009, she is also an actress and famous for her work in Mad Men.

In 1998, he started his career with a voice role in Daria. He had worked for many films and television series and also given his voice in the video game and to some characters in television and films whose voice does not match their character.

He got the role of College Boy 3 and Flipper Boy in the film Super Troopers and Bubble Boy in 2001. In 2003, he had performed as Malik and Johnny in the film It Runs in the Family and A Tale of Two Pizzas. He was Karl Benson in the film Garden State which was released in 2004. In 2005, he had given his voice to Temp Agent in the film Press to Say 2 and performed the role of a mentally challenged man in The Ringer in 2005. The name of his character was Winston.
