- Ron is pureblood. In opposition to his two best friends, Ron is a pure-blood as both the parents of Harminoy were muggles and Harry's mother is Muggle-born, making him half-blood as well. Not many are aware of the fact that the Weasley family is a part of the Sacred Twenty-Eight. The Sacred Twenty-Eight is a document that contained the twenty-eight British families had the purest bloodlines by the 1930s.
- Ron has a detestation to taking Voldemort's name. Ron isn't exactly renowned for his courageous qualities, however, there are a few things that scared him more, including pronouncing the name of "He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named." He had a reason though! In The Deathly Hallows, it was made clear that Ron was dubious to say Voldemort's name because it was cursed. According to the lore, if Voldemort's name is taken the Death Eaters will know the person's location.
- Ron's pet Scabbers wasn't an ordinary rat. Ron's pet Scabbers wasn't an ordinary rat: Ron was often seen with his pet Scabbers. But, it was shown in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban that Scabbers wasn’t the tiny, defenseless rat we all thought he was. It was actually Peter Pettigrew in his Animagus form. Peter was the wizard who betrayed James and Lily Potter.
- Weasleys have been deemed one the prime blood traitors in the Wizarding World. The reason is that even though all of them are purebloods, they have never made a huge deal about it, unlike Malfoy’s parents. The Weasley family has never advocated the notion of blood purity. They have always welcomed Muggle-born wizards and witches into the Wizarding World with open arms.
- Ron and his family live in the Burrow. Sitting on the outskirts of Ottery St. Catchpole in Devon, England, Ron’s house is debatably the most charming house in all of the Wizarding World. His neighbors include Lovegoods, Diggorys, and Fawcetts.
- Ron has arachnophobia. In Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, we have a first-hand experience of Ron’s irrational fear of spiders. The fear was planted in his mind back when he was three. His brother turned his teddy bear into a spider, which caused a lasting effect on Ron’s mind.
- Ron is a high-level chess player. In Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone/ Sorcerer's Stone (2001), we saw Ron doing something without fear as his talent and courage allowed the trio to pass one of the obstacles. For his assistance in securing the stone, Dumbledore also praised him. He is likely one of the top chess players in the wizarding world.
