About Metatron
Metatron is the Angel of the Lord in the series Supernatural. God chose him to be his scribe and take down his notes into the tablets known as the Words of God. Despite not being a high-ranking angel, he was infatuated with the fact that the lord had picked him for this duty. The character was portrayed by Curtis Armstrong in Supernatural.

    Most angels did not like humanity and thought of humans as lesser beings, however, Metatron appeared to have a sort of affection for humanity. Particularly their ability to storytelling. He also claimed that even as an angel he had yet to catch up to all the stories mankind has written. While Metatron showed a level of appreciation for humans, he had utter disdain for angels, especially the archangels to the point he had hidden a secret spell within the angel tablet that would eject and lock all the angels out of Heaven when performed.
