Ruby is a character in the American dark fantasy drama television series Supernatural. She was a demon whose mission was towards the return of Lucifer to Earth. She played a Double-agent for Lilith in the mission. Her first appearance was in the season 3 episode The Magnificent Seven. She was killed by Dean Winchester The character is played by various actresses, including Genevieve Padalecki , Genevieve Padalecki, Anna Williams, and Michelle Hewitt-Williams.

Evil From the Beginning: The character was supposed to be evil from the beginning, it was also implied by the Series creator Eric Kripke that he had intended from the beginning that Ruby would be evil.
Identity concealed: During the press release of characters, Ruby was intentionally described incorrectly in press releases. It was done in order to preserve plot twists and/or tease the fans: before her third-season introduction and the revelation of her demonic nature. Her character was depicted as a hunter, who was more competent than Sam and Dean. She was also presented in front of the media as a waitress named Kristy, a love interest of Sam in Season 4.
Original Audition: Many people may not know that Katie Cassidy who played in season 3 initially came in for the audition of Bela Talbot. Also, Lauren Cohan who was seen as Bela in the series originally auditioned for the role of Ruby.
