About National Monument of Indonesia
National Monument of Indonesia is a tall monument located in the city of Jakarta in Indonesia. The monument is 132 meters tall situated at the center of Merdeka Square. It was made to honor the struggle for independence in the country. Its construction started in 1961 and was completed 14 years later in 1975. The monument could be visited in the daytime from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm from Tuesday to Sunday. It remains closed on Monday. If you want to visit the site at night then you can go there in the timing between 7 to 10 pm from Tuesday to Friday while on Saturday and Sunday, the opening timings are 7 pm to midnight. You have to pay a ticket price of 10000 Rupiah to see the observation deck.
