Career of Henrik Ibsen
His first stage play The Burial Mound had not received much success. He was employed at Det Norske Theater (Bergen) where he worked as a writer, director, and producer for more than 145 plays. He went to Christiania to become the creative director of the Christiania Theatre. There he does not get much success and move to Sorrento in Italy and returned after 27 years. He had written many plays like Brand, A Doll's House, Ghosts and many more.
