About Bode Miller
Bode Miller is an alpine ski racer from the United states. He won a gold medal in World Championship and Olympic. In 2005 and 2008 he won World Cup champion for two times. For charity purpose with Nashua Pride, he signed a one day contract in which he plays the first three innings on July 24, 2007. He left the and play and for his personally-financed, he starts racing independently for 'Team America' for 2 seasons. His 'Team America' came on end in after he met with the hard crash at Beaver Creek Downhill in which he got a knee injury. In the book, Bode: Go Fast, Be Good, Have Fun he stated that his aim is to not win the medals but his real aim to ski as fast as the 'natural universe will allow'.

Bode Miller was born on October 12, 1977, in Easton, New Hampshire. His parents are Jo Kenney and Woody Miller. He along with his family lived on 4540 acres of land where they live without electricity and indoor plumbing. A child he was vegetarian and up to third grade, he was home schooled but later he joined the public school after his parents get separated. For the Carrabassett Valley Academy, a ski racing academy in Maine he got a scholarship. After winning two medals at the 2002 Salt Lake City Winter Olympics he got recognition.

He appeared in the World Cup during the 1998 season and also in the 1998 Nagano Olympics, competing he represent the United States both are in a technical discipline. Later he enters in the Super-g competition which was a speed discipline, not a technical one. In two disciplines he won the World Cup in 200114 seasons but overall he ranked at fourth. At that time he totally wins the six World Cup races that include one slalom, two combined, and three giant slaloms. After defeating Austrians Benjamin Raich and Hermann Maier in 2005 he got his first world cup title.
