Career of Emmerson Mnangagwa

He became a member of the National Assembly of Zimbabwe in 1980. He served as Minister of State for National Security from 1980 to 1988. He became Speaker of the Parliament in July 2000 and in 2005, he was assigned Ministry of Rural Housing and Social Amenities. He served as Minister of Justice, Legal and Parliamentary Affairs from 2013 to 2017 and as Vice President in the period between December 2014 to November 2017. He became President of Zimbabwe in November 2017.
