He started his career with the band BtoB as a vocalist. After which, he moved towards acting and appeared as Sungjoon/Ssukssuk in the television series "Reply 1994". He played a 19-year old Judo athlete in the television series "Plus Nine Boys". He played a lead role in the television series "Who Are You: School 2015".

I love Yook Sung Jae since I watch "Who Are You: School 2015". I fall in love at first sight with him. I love that drama but I fell bad for him cause he deserves Kim So Hyun more but anyways I love his singing skills too. I love BTOB Wow and there fight my way OST. I just I want to meet him once. I hope my dream fulfill soon. Love you, Yook Sung Jae forever.
