At the beginning of the 80s, she signed with Ensign Records and provided vocal to the song "Heroine". The song also was co-written by her with U2's guitarist. Her debut album "The Lion and the Cobra" reached gold record status. Also her second album "I Do Not Want What I Haven't Got" was greatly admired by the people. She joined the band "The The" as a guest vocalist for their album 'Mind Bomb'.
