She started with singing on streets and was first discovered by a nightclub owner and her singing starts attracting many celebrities, including actor and singer Maurice Chevalier. There she produced her two records. She was in great demand at the time of World War II. She recorded her last song "L'Homme de Berlin" in April 1963.
