She started singing and writing songs at a very early age. When she was eight, she participated in her first talent competition. She released her debut single "Takin Off This Pain" in 2007. Later she came out with her first studio album "Sounds So Good" in 2008 under the MCA Nashville label. Some of her other popular albums are Where Country Grows (2011), This is America (2013) and Out of My Pocket (2016). She also appeared in some music videos.
