Chris Stein and Debbie Harry founded a band with Billy O'Connor in August 1974 and named the band "Angel and the Snake". Later on, they changed the name of the band to "Blondie". The first success of the band was in Australia in 1977. Their second album "Plastic Letters" was released in 1978. The band was disbanded and was reformed in 1997.
