- When he was 48 he suffered from deafness problems. According to sources, it is said that his deafness was caused by a form of typhus that has been originated due to rat flea.
- He started learning violin, piano, and organ at a very small age. At the age of seven, he gave his first performance.
- Ludwig had a very secret love life. In his private papers, a love letter to an unknown lady has been also found. Nobody knows who was addressed in these letters.
