Career of William Alland
The role in the movie for which he was best known was 'Citizen Kane' (1941) as a reporter Jerry Thompson who in Orson Welles's investigates the life of newspaper tycoon Charles Foster Kane. He also has directed one movie named 'Look in Any Window' in 1961 starred Paul Anka and Gigi Perreau. He has also produced many movies like Johnny Dark (1954), This Island Earth (1955), The Land Unknown (1957), The Colossus of New York (1958), The Lady Takes a Flyer (1958), The Lively Set (1964), The Rare Breed (1966) and so on.

He gets fame in the 1950s when he started producing science fiction films at Universal and Paramount. He has produced some movies that are based on original stories like The Deadly Mantis (1957), As Young as We Are (1958) and The Party Crashers (1958).
