American film and television actress Luana Anders was born in New York City, New York, the U.S on May 12, 1938. He believed in Buddhism and supported the American chapter of Soka Gakkai International (SGI) throughout her life. She died at the age of 58 due to breast cancer in Mar Vista, Los Angeles, California, the U.S. on July 21, 1996.

She started acting with American International Pictures and perform many supporting roles. She had given her best performances in:

Starting with supportive roles she had also performed a lead role in low-budget film Life Begins at 17 as Carol Peck and Reform School Girls as Josie Brigg. She performs an uncredited role in The FBI Story as Mrs. Graham in 1959. She was Ellen Sands in Night Tide which was released in 1961.
In the same year, her performance in The Pit and the Pendulum as Catherine Medina was one of her best performance. She acts in The Young Racers as Henny and Dementia 13 as Louise Halloran in 1963. She was Gwen in Sex and the College Girl which was released in 1964. In 1967, she gave her performance in small roles of Waitress and Party Guest in The Trip and Games. She was Agatzi Girl in How Sweet It Is! in 1968.
