Television
In 1950, she started her acting career with the show The Jackie Gleason Show as 'Away We Go!' girl. She had guest starred in many television programmes such as The Fugitive, Kojak, and Buck Rogers in the 25th Century. Some of the shows like TV's Bracken's World, The Paul Lynde Show, C.P.O. Sharkey, Another World was regularly cast by her. She appeared in the "The Hungry Glass" episode of the first season of Boris Karloff's Thriller in 1961. And she had a lead role in the first season of Combat!, in 1962. Her best performance was seen in the first-season episode of Rod Serling as the creepy saleslady.
Films
She had a starring role in the John Ford film "Donovan's Reef" in 1963 and also she had co-starred in the film Diamond Head with Charlton Heston and Yvette Mimieux. She had also worked with James Stewart in "Cheyenne Autumn" in 1964. She has performed in From the Terrace as Sage Remmington in 1960 and was Laura Beckett in Diamond Head in 1963.She worked in episode 102 of Fugitive in 1966 and in 1971, she was the landlady Mrs. MacKaninee in Star Spangled Girl.
