She started her career behind the camera as an assistant casting director. Her first acting role was in the film “Dum Laga ke Haisha” opposite Ayushmann Khurrana. She also received audience applaud with her work in the films Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, Shubh Mangal Saavdhan, Bala, and Pati Patni Aur Woh. She played a lesbian in the film “Badhaai Do.” Her work in the films Saand Ki Aankh, Bheed, Afwaah was also well received.
