She worked at "Salome, Where She Danced" after which she signed with Universal. She appeared in comedy films like Hotel Sahara. As a singer, she sang many songs one of which was "For Every Man, There's a Woman" which got an Academy nomination for the best original song. She appeared as Zipporah, the wife of Moses in the biblical epic "The Ten Commandments."
