Her first film role was in the comedy film "Francis Joins the WACS." She joined Columbia Pictures in 1955 and her first film for the studio was 'Chicago Syndicate.' She played the lead role in the science fiction film "Attack of the 50 Foot Woman." She appeared as Ellie Winters in a recurring role in the television series "Bat Masterson." Her final acting role was in the situation comedy " Gomer Pyle, U.S.M.C."
