He appeared in television series like The Bill, Where the Heart Is, Heartbeat, Midsomer Murders, Casualty, Down to Earth, Plotlands, She's Out and What Remains. He and actress Ashley Jensen married each other in a very-very simple way in Big Sur, California, in January 2007. There were no guests, the only person present at their wedding was the minister and their pet dog Barney who was the ring-bearer at their ceremony.
He was fifty and his wife was thirty-eight when they bound in a wedlock after a long affair of eight years. They met each other in a production at the Manchester Royal Exchange in 1999 and married in January of 2007.
His death was sudden and was shocking for all of his fan, his wife Ashley Jensen was totally devastated. He died on November thirty but the news of his death was acknowledged to the public in mid of December. He was found unconscious at his home and there was no news of his health disorder. An Ambulance arrived after ten minutes of the call but he was no more.
