Richard Jenkins landed his first film role in 1974 with the TV film Feasting with Panthers, his first television role was in the series Great Performances as Warder/The Sheriff for two episodes. His big screen movie Silverado and Hannah and Her Sisters were released in 1985 and 1986 respectively. His best notable role is Nathaniel Fisher in Six Feet Under. He is also known for his few other movies Step Brothers (2008), Burn After Reading (2008), Let Me In (2010).
