Character actor from Pennsylvania Maurice (Maury) Saul Argent was born on March 4, 1916. He was active between 1957 to 1980. He had work not only in films but also at the stage. He died at the age of 65 on 7 December 1981 in San Francisco, California.

In 1957, he had done an uncredited role in Pal Joey as the Second sailor worked in Harbor Command in 1958. His character was Sid Kleinman in Dirty Harry it was released in 1971. In 1972, he was a Pool Manager in the film One Is a Lonely Number. In the film Magnum Force in 1973, he was Nat Weinstein.
