He started his acting career with the romantic drama film Breathe In and played the character, Aaron. He played a supporting role in the comedy film Delivery Man as Channing. He played the character of Alec Lightwood on the Freeform fantasy series Shadowhunters. He had a starring role in the remake of Eli Roth's horror film Cabin Fever.
