Edward Albert real name Edward Laurence Heimberger was an American film and television actor. He was born in Los Angeles, California, U.S on February 20, 1951, and died on September 22, 2006, due to Lung cancer. He was the only son of Green Acres star Eddie Albert and Mexican actress Margo.He was married to actress Kathrine Woodville in 1978 and they also have a daughter.His father suffered from Alzheimer's disease had died in 2005 and he himself died next year because of lung cancer.He attended Oxford University and studied psychology at UCLA. At the age of 14, he had made his film debut as a young runaway in Violent Journey.A deep love and appreciation for the land and the diversity of cultures, he had received this from his parents as a heritage. For both the environment and the heritage and rights of Native Americans he was an advocate, especially for the local Chumash tribe.

He played a role of runaway orphan in which with a disturbed Civil War veteran crossed a road made by motion picture in 1965 drama.His best role was of a blind man in the film Butterflies Are Free in 1972. Next year he had a starring role in the film adaptation of the play 40 Carats. In 1976 movie 'Midway' he plays a role a navy fighter pilot. In the NBC dramatic series of Gibbsville in 1976, he gave a guest appearance on this show. In one suspense film The Domino Principle (1977) and the drama The Greek Tycoon, he was featured as Gene Hackman.And he had a starring role in 1981 horror film, Galaxy of Terror. In 1980s television series 'Beauty and the Beast', he also appeared as Elliot Burch. He also appeared in movie film The Underachiever on 1987. In two episodes of Spider-Man: The Animated Series he gave voice to the blind superhero Daredevil. He plays a role of threatened and betrayed agent who wants to get free from the prison in 1992 The Ice Runner. In the television show Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman he gave a guest appearance as a Dr. William Burke. In 1994 he played a role of the son of kidnapped former in the Guarding Tess.
