Is Celebrated as Engineers Day in India in remembrance. Died on 14th April 1962 at Bangalore. And his achievements are many in civil services and "Reconstructing India" is a book written for emerging Engineers and to Industrialised India. And All Indian Engineers Manufacturers Association. FIE. British Commander of Knight. And sayings "No other railway crossing in the world is as clean as you keep". Worked hard for our nation to build a strong future.

Sir Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya KCE,FACS(15 September 1861-12/14 April 1962) referredby his initials MV was a Indian civil engineer, administrator and statesman who served as the 19th Dewan of Mysore from 1912 to 1918. Visvesvaraya is regarded in India as one of the foremost civil engineer whose birthday 15 september is celebrated every year as Engineers Day in India, Sri lanka and Tanzania He also often regarded as the maker of modern Mysore. according to Prajavani a Kannada language news paper he is also the most popular figure in the south Indian state of Karnataka. Visvesvaraya worked as the civil engineer for the government of British India.and later as Prime Minister of Kingdom of Mysore. For his services of British India. He was appointed CIE and later Knighted KCE for services of the Kingdom of Mysore and republic of India.
