About Taj Mahal
A tomb made with white marble and is one of the seven wonders of the world. The monument is also called a symbol of love as it was made by the king for her beloved wife after her death. It is a pride of India and every Indian must visit the monument at least once in their lifetime. You can visit the beautiful monument between 6:00 am to 7:00 pm from Saturday to Thursday. On Friday, it remains closed for prayers. If you want to have a look in a moonlit night then you must know that this view is only possible on two days before and two days after plus full moon night (Purnima). A ticket amount of 50 Rupees is charged from Indian citizens while children less than the age of 15 are free to visit without paying any entry fees. If you are going for a night view then you have to pay 510 INR for an Indian adult and also 500 INR for a child between the age group of 3 to 15 years. Foreigners are charged 1050 INR for a visit.

How To Reach Taj Mahal
As the monument is a popular tourist destination so it is easy to reach there for the visitors without facing any inconvenience. Some of the popular means of transport available are:
Bus
If you are going there via bus then you have to leave your bus at any of the nearby bus stands. Some of them are Agra Local Bus Stand, State Bus Stand, Idgah Bus Stand, Local Bus Stand, and UP Roadways. You can take a rickshaw or an autorickshaw from these bus stand to reach the place easily.
Train
Going there by train is also a good option. You have to get off at the Agra Fort railway station, Idgah railway station, Agra City, Raja Ki Mandi, Yamuna Bridge Agra, or at Agra Cantt which are some nearby train stations to reach the destination. Several public transport options like rickshaw, auto-rickshaw, and taxi are available outside these stations which will leave you right in front of the entrance of the monument.
