Survivor is one of the most liked reality television series that premiered on American television. The forty-fourth season of Survivor is premiering on CBS in the United States while in Canada you can watch the show on Global. All the episode of the show was shot in the beautiful Mamanuca Islands in Fiji and icing on the cake the most popular Emmy Award-winning host
Jeff Probst is presenting the show. Former Seattle Seahawks fullback Brandon Cottom also participated in the show. All 18 contestants excitedly participated in the show to try their immunity and luck. Three tribes Ratu, Soka and, Tika were made to divide the contestants and their journey begins where contestants have to face several challenges to test their physical and mental abilities. Let’s meet the contestants now:
Puerto Rico native Yamil Arocho has joined Tika tribe. He is 36 years old (as of March 2023) and is a proud owner of Miranda Beauty Salon. Yamil is more popular by his nickname Yam Yam. He is a travel enthusiast and has visited about 57 countries in his life. Yamil is a great swimmer and adventure lover. He wanted to be a part of show since he was 13 and has seen the very first episode of the show. According to him, he is fun-loving, loud but caring person.

The second contestant, Matt Blankinship is a resident of Calif. He is a software engineer by profession and is trying to become a part of Survivor since a decade. He is included in the Soka tribe. Matt stated that he has survived several setbacks in his life so he is the most prepared contestant for the show. He has successfully participated in a Marathon and is now ready to give a tough competition to other contestants.

Needs no introduction, Brandon has already made his name with his football career. Brandon has a tough physique due to his sports background and definitely will increase the problems of opponents. He is a part of Ratu tribe. Brandon has a good height, standing at six feet and two inches. He want to challenge himself by participating in the show. He is also a great pianist and enjoys snowboarding, cooking, and grilling. According to him, he is easygoing, ambitious and confident and is a perfect combination of physical and mental strength which is essential for the show.

Canada-based Kane Fritzler is the fourth contestant on the show. He is included in the Ratu tribe. The 1998-born Kane is a law student and is loud and competitive. Talking about his personal life, he owns a charming voice and loves his dog. He was honored as the best negotiator at a national negotiation competition for Canadian law schools. What hurdles he will put in the way of opponents will surely increase the excitement of the show.

Carson Garrett is a contestant representing Tika tribe. Carson is from Georgia and is a NASA Engineering student. He has worked with several different kinds of people for his projects in engineering training and now participated in the show to test himself. He enjoys photography and minecraft and hated mosquitos and delayed texters. Garrett considers he is Multi-faceted, exuberant, and innovative and his ability to push himself will help him in winning the show.

Matthew Grinstead-Mayle is a native of Ohio and runs Good Fellow barbershop located in Columbus. He loves outdoors and challenges and participated in the show to enjoy natural beauty and testify himself under the challenging conditions. Matthew is put into the Ratu tribe. He think he is spontaneous, caring and adventurous and is competent for all challenges like climbing trees as well as swimming in lakes and rivers which will serve as his strength to win the show.

Lauren Harpe is a contestant from Ratu tribe. She is a native of Texas and works as an educator in her hometown. She is treating participation as an opportunity for self-growth and discovery. Harpe is a single parent and is physically, mentally, and emotionally strong due to several circumstances in her life. She thinks her personality, self-awareness, and adaptability will help her to win the show.

Heidi Lagares-Greenblatt is a contestant from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and is an engineering manager by profession. She is assigned Soka tribe. She played for the national youth basketball team at the age of 12. Heidi joined the show to fulfill her long-time dream. She is energetic, adventurous, and loud hopefully it will become her asset and help her to be the sole survivor.

The 29-year-old has been a part of a number of communities and can easily adapt to different norms. Helen loves traveling and downhill skiing. According to her, she is optimistic, empathetic, and self-aware, and her qualities will help her to survive in the game.

The 24-year-old is a research coordinator and has an experience of working in a high-traffic nail salon. She has the capacity to navigate with people of different perspectives. She is curious, calculating, and zesty and believes that her adaptability and enthusiasm will help her in winning the game.

Danny Massa has joined Soka tribe in the show. He is a firefighter from Bronx, New York. He wants to come out of his comfort zone, and to find true happiness, which is the reason behind his participation in the game. His experience of firefighting and martial arts is a precious asset for him. He also ran a 34-mile ultra marathon and is both physically and mentally fit to be a part of Survivor.

Bruce Perreault is a contestant from Warwick, Rhode Island. He was placed in Tika tribe. He is an insurance agent and is funny, energetic and competitive. He considers Survivor as a great social experiment and participated in the show to test himself. He was abandoned as a child and have faced many problems before being adopted by a white couple. He thinks he is fully competitive and there will be great fun while playing the game with him.

She grabbed third rank in an ultramarathon at the age 22. She is brave, dynamic, feral and friendly which will be helpful for her to survive in the show.

Arizona-based Jaime Lynn Ruiz has joined Ratu tribe. She is watching the show since the very beginning of the show and it was her lifelong dream to participate in the show. She is a yogi and has spent about ten years navigating different people and founding winning teams. She is an enthusiastic, loving, and magnetic person. Ruiz says that her capacity to make solid relationships will act as a winning factor for her.

She has gone through many unpleasant experiences in her life which has given her enough strength to be a tough contestant in the show.

The next contestant Carolyn is the daughter of Minnesota Senate member Chuck Wiger. She is drug counselor residing in Hugo, Minnesota. She is passionate, loud, and an open person. Carolyn believes that overcoming addiction was a big challenge for her which has prepared her for The Survivor. According to her, she will be the sole survivor of the show due to her authentic connections.

Last but not least contestant is Josh Wilder. He is a Surgical Podiatrist from Atlanta, Georgia. He grew up with a medical condition and was told by doctors that he would not be able to do things like other normal people and now he wants to participate in the show to prove himself. He is an adventurous, ambitious, and charismatic person. Josh is a cancer survivor and has battled with deadly diseases and is now physically and mentally prepared to participate and challenge another contestant of the show.
