Jhanak is a Hindi television show premiering on Star Plus since November 20, 2023. It could be seen on Star Plus from Monday to Sunday at 10:30 pm. And at any time at Disney+Hotstar. Hiba Nawab and Krushal Ahuja joined the cast as leads, where Hiba will play the titular character.
Plot
The story moves around Jhanak, a girl with high dreams who wants to achieve a lot in her life but on her own base. She lives with her mother in Kashmir. The show also showcases the rich culture of Kashmir. Jhanak is being stalked by a Don man named Tejas who sends a marriage proposal to Jhanak which she rejects. Tejas in order to take revenge kills Jhanak’s family so that he can force her to marry, while Jhanak promises her mother to leave the city after her death. Anirudh marries Jhanak so as to save her from Tejas and other goons. How Jhanak will spend the rest of her life and whether will she get true love in her life is seen in the show's plot.
Jhanak started working in Anirudh's home being an orphan she has no way to go. She was working as a maid in Anirudh's home but whenever she gets humilated in Anirudh's home, it makes him feel uncomfortable. Even though the marriage was forced and they both have not accepted this marriage but there is a bond between them. Anirudh celebrated Jhanak's birthday leaving his fiance's birthday. Also, when Jhanak was talking with her best freind on Anirudh's phone, it was not liked by him as he thought Rahul is Jhanak's boyfriend. With this fans started estimating that there is a start of first step of love between Jhanak and Anirudh. Anirudh gifted a bouquet and cake to Jhanak but she doesn't like it and went to return all these gifts to him.
