Now-a-day, K-pop is ruling the music industry. South Korean youth is working hard to become K-pop idols. Exo is also a popular South Korean-Chinese band that has made a huge fan base since its debut in 2012. They release music in Japanese, Korean and Mandarin. The band was founded by SM Entertainment in 2011. The group’s debut studio album “XOXO” was released in 2013, while “Don’t Mess Up My Tempo” was their highest-charting album. The group has nine members Xiumin, Suho, Lay, Baekhyun, Chen, Chanyeol, D.O., Kai, and Sehun, however, Luhan, Kris, and Tao had left the group. Let’s know about the band members:

Xiumin



Kim Min-seok commonly known as Xiumin is an active member of the group. Besides music, he is also a martial artist earning a black belt in Kendo and Taekwondo. A huge football fan, Xiumin is chosen as the honorary ambassador of the Korea Football Association. Lay Zhang is a native of China and is a rapper, singer, dancer, and songwriter in the group. Kim Jong-dae popular as Chen is a singer and songwriter in Exo. He is the main vocalist in the group. He also named himself in his solo career and his first EP “April, and a Flower” reached number two on South Korea's Gaon Album Chart and also sang in the television drama including the song “Best Luck” from “It's Okay, That's Love” alongside getting popularity with the group. Park Chan-yeol also known as simply Chanyeol. Chanyeol is popular among fans with his baritone singing voice. Besides his group activities, he also made small appearances in the music videos of HaHaHa Song by TVXQ and Genie by Girls’ Generation. Doh Kyung-soo better known as D.O. gained much popularity for being a member of Exo. He started singing and taking part in singing competitions when he was in primary school and is the eighth member of the group. Besides singing for the group, he earned several acting roles in films and television series like Pure Love, Swing Kids, and 100 Days My Prince to be named a few. Kris Wu was also a member of Exo, but left the group in 2014. Kris was born in China but was raised in Canada.
