Kangana Ranaut Made Controversial Statement Against Farmers Protest

Bollywood actress and politician Kangana Ranaut often remains in news headlines due to her bold statements against powerful people from Bollywood and Politics. Recently, actress has won Lok Sabha seat from Mandi constituency and now she is a member of parliament from ruling party. Every statement made by her will be directly connected to the Bhartiya Janta Party.
Once again the actress made news headlines when she was talking about the farmers’ protest in India. The politician said that the protest was directly connected with foreign powers and was a conspiracy against India rather than for the benefits of farmers. Ranaut also warned that the protest may led to Bangladesh like situation in India if it continues to some more time.
The actress also allegedly said that the bodies were seen hanging and rapes were taking place at the place of protest. However Senior BJP leader Harjit Garewal spoke against her statement and said in an interview with India Today that It is not Kangana’s department to speak on farmers. Their party and PM Modi is farmer-friendly. She should not talk about sensitive or religious issues.
Farmers are also taking Kangana’s statement seriously. A leader of farmers said that her statement is putting salt to their wounds. Also, leader of Congress party said that she should be jailed for her statement as she openly said farmers rapist and killers.

There is always a situation of rage between Farmer protester and Kangana Ranaut. Also a few months back a CISF woman constable slapped the actress at Chandigarh Airport in June 2024 soon after the actress won the election from Mandi constituency. The farmer protesters supported the constable march in her favor. Ranaut remarked that she don’t bother about the slap but she is worried about the terrorism and extremism which is increasing in Punjab.
