He got the lead role in the show, Evolution of the Blues while he was dancing at the Oakland and San Francisco Ballet. This show was to be shown in the historic Golden Gate Theatre in San Francisco. He got the job of choreographer for the shows in Hawaii. After some time, Alvin Ailey asked him to dance in his American Dance Theater. He auditioned for Broadway show and was selected for Cats (musical), Starlight Express, Song and Dance, Jelly's Last Jam and Smokey Joe's Cafe. He played the role of Wilbur in the film Chicago. He released 'Ballads, Blues & Cocktails' in the starting of 2009.
