About Terry Bradshaw
Terry Bradshaw is an American football quarterback who played in the National Football League (NFL) professionally. His real name is Terry Paxton Bradshaw. He has appeared in many tv commercial ads also starred in many movies and tv shows. He was the co-host of Fox NFL Sunday. With the Pittsburg, he played for the 14 seasons. In the Pittsburgh Steelers' team history his on-the-field leadership and physical skills played a major role. He completed 261 passes for 3,833 yards in 19 post-season games.
Early Life of Terry Bradshaw
Terry Bradshaw was born on September 2, 1948, in Shreveport, Louisiana. He is the second of three sons of Novis and William "Bill" Marvin Bradshaw. He spent his childhood at the Camanche, Iowa, where he made a goal to become a professional footballer. Later his parents and brothers are moved to where he studies at Woodlawn High School and play football under coach A. L. Williams. When e was in the school he made a record of throwing the javelin 245 feet. He attends the Louisiana Tech University in Ruston.
Career of Terry Bradshaw
By the Pittsburgh Steelers, he was the first player who was selected in their team at 1970 NFL Draft. In the rookie campaign, he became the starter after splitting time with Terry Hanratty. To adjust in the NFL team it took several seasons. In 1974 he lost the job to Joe Gilliam but during the regular season, he took it again. Due to his neck and wrist injuries, he was not able to play the four games. In 1978 he played the finest season by completed 207 of 368 passes for 2,915 yards and 28 touchdown passes and became the NFL's Most Valuable Player by the Associated Press.
Achievements of Terry Bradshaw
In six years of the period, he won the four Super Bowl titles and become the first quarterback who won the Super Bowl three of four times. In 1989 he was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame and in 1996 he was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame.
